The house is entered from its private landscaped courtyard through a magnificent antique wooden doorway. A passage of white stone, lined with niches containing carvings from the Eastern Island, leads into the open living room with fine views of the whole of Bali.

There are four individual bedroom suites, arranged around an open living and dining room, surrounded by lotus ponds and gardens, and overlooking the 15m. swimming pool. Constructed to the highest standards, the house uses all nature materials: stone marble, and wood from throughout the Indonesian archipelago. The house is decorated with antiques and artifacts from the islands of Indonesia.

BALI SUITE:
King-size hand carved Bali style four poster bed dominates the bedroom; separate dressing room and en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub. The suite has its own private garden with lotus ponds and an outside shower. The room has a television and stereo sound system. Marble floors and high ceilings give this suite a wonderful airy feeling. A terrace with a large couch looks out to the view.

GAJAH SUITE:
This suite is decorated with western style furnishings with a king-size four poster bed. En-suite bathroom looks out onto a private lotus pond with a fountain. A separate terrace overlooking the ocean has a small spa. The room is equipped with television.

LOMBOK SUITE:
This suite consists of two single bedrooms, separate bath, shower and toilet facilities. There is a small private garden and an enclosed terrace.

LIBRARY SUITE:
This room serves as a Library/Study or as a fourth bedroom. Wood panelled, it has a warm atmosphere. Contains a queen-size couch/bed with en-suite bathroom. It contains the satellite TV, C.D., and VCR players, as well as a collection of books.

All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned with remote control split air-conditioning, although the cool breezes mean it is often not required. Each room has a refrigerator for drinks and all are connected by internal telephone system. There are built-in wardrobes in all rooms.

The spacious living/dining room is open and overlooks the swimming pool and the spectacular views . There is a sunken marble seating area and a massive stone slab dining table.

The kitchen and pantry area is fully equipped, with crockery, cutlery, stove, microwave etc.

STAFF:
"Puri Alam Sari" is fully serviced by cook, maids, gardener/pool attendant and night security.

All meals, soft drinks and alcohol can be catered upon request and are charged separately.

Over-seeing and coordinating the staff and property is a western manager, able to assist guests throughout their stay.
