The location is at Raya Seminyak Street gang Keraton within walking distance to Legian main street where you can find various shops, boutiques and famous restaurants, also near by Bintang Supermarket where you can get your groceries. Approximately 10 minutes walk to the beach.
Great sense of privacy, but so conveniently close to everything you wish to do during your holiday.

The Living, Dining and Entertainment Area:
The TV
* The big screen TV can be turned on either by touching the glowing hole at the bottom of the TV, or via the TV remote control.
* The ‘input’ button on the remote allows you to select which device you wish to view:
o TV for Cable TV
o AV1 for DVD
o AV2 for the Wii
* Note that sometimes the satellite is intermittent in Bali, so please be patient if the signal suddenly goes off – it will come back!
Entertainment System
* Turn on via the red power button on the front
* Buttons on the top for:

* Use the separate remote control from the TV remote for full functions
* To play a DVD, turn on the TV, change input to AV1, turn on the DVD player, choose function DVD/CD, and then insert the disc in the top, and press play

* VCD’s and CD’s in the draws
The Wii
* Turn on via the red power button on the front
* Set TV input to AV2
* Insert game disk
* Once started up, use the ‘cracked’ Wii main menu, bottom left called ‘Gamma 002 Fix Press’ not the normal main menu
* Ensure infra red receiver is on the top of the TV, its 20cm long, 1cm high and has red/black plastic windows on each end. Otherwise it wont read the controllers
* Some Wii games use the controller, some need the ‘num chuk’ attached to the controller, and some need the ‘Wii Fit’ board
* You can add your own ‘Mii’ character on the main menu ‘Mii Channel’ if you like your own profile
Books, Magazines and Bali Reference information
* Plenty to choose from here – but if you take one, please leave one
* Please don’t take the reference material – please collect your own!
Internet/Wireless
All the villas have broadband internet from Telkom ‘ Speedy’. The speed is up to 1Mbps.
The internet connection is free of charge. It will automatically connect your laptop to the internet once you connect to the network by plug-in cable or wireless connection.
If your laptop doesn’t connect to the internet please check this following instructions:
1. Make sure your laptop is connected to the ‘Villa Rama’ Internet or wireless
2. Make sure that TCP/IP is set to automatically obtain IP address.
3. If needed, turn off your windows firewall.
4. Restart your laptop.

Is for Villa Staff – please do not use this for personal use

* There is a large one in the living room, and another small one in the kitchen
Lights and Fans
* Switches are located near the powder room – please switch off when not in use, as power is a rare commodity in Bali, and we experience the occasional black out
Dinner Table and Coffee Table
* Are solid teak – but please do use drink mats provided, and place mats for hot dishes and plates on the dining table
Bedrooms (3)
There are 2 guest houses and 1 master bedroom connected to the living area.
All bedrooms have:
* King Size beds
* Air-conditioning and ceiling fans
* Mosquito nets
* Screen doors on the outside
* Ensuite bathrooms with open air showers, and basic toiletries, toothbrush holders, tissues and drinking water
* All toilets have hand held washers
* 2 bedside tables and lamps
* Safes for valuables
* Wardrobes and hangers
* Large teak trunks for storage
* Towels are changed daily
* Sheets are changed every second day
* Keep bathroom door and screen doors closed to minimize mosquitoes
Guest House
* In addition, the guest house closest to the living area has a TV with cable, which you may wish to consider if you have children
* A foldaway bed is also available for a small additional charge – please check with management when making your booking
Smoke Detectors
* Are in all rooms, kitchen, and the living area – please refrain from smoking in the bedrooms, for the comfort of other following guests
Safety Deposit Box
Villa Rama has one safe box in each room.
To reset code:Press the red bottom on the inside of the door and wait for a beep.
Enter your 3-6 digit personal code and press A or B.
To close the safe:Close the door and turn the knob anti-clockwise, it is now closed. When you open again you use the same code as before.
To open the safe:Enter your 3-6 digit personal code (that you entered when resetting the code).
Turn the knob clockwise.Before you check-out:Please empty the safe and leave the safe open.
Outside Kitchen, PoolBar And BBQ:
The outside kitchen, pool bar and BBQ is for your pleasure. It contains:
* Four bar stools around the outside of the Bar/Kitchen
* Ceiling fan and lights (Switches on the back of the post next to the fridge)
* BBQ hotplate and grill combo

* Grill and Toaster Oven
* Refrigerator/Freezer

The Pool:
* The pool is chlorinated, and levels checked and cleaned regularly
* There is an outside shower for your convenience before and after pool use
* The Buddha waterfall can be turned on and of via the switches on the wall near the entrance of the first guest house
* Pool lights and guest house verandah lights are also on the walls outside the guesthouses
* Buddha’s spotlight is via the small black remote control, which is usually found on the dining room table or coffee table
The Bale
* Is for relaxing on, massages etc – there are lights, and a ceiling fan for your comfort
Security
* Bali and particularly Seminyak is relatively safe day and night - there is a Villa Bugis security post near the villa, and they patrol regularly – but don’t forget to lock the villa when you go out – there is a key on each bedroom door
Hints and Tips
* Please don’t take glass in or near the pool – if they break, it’s a pool drain, clean, and re-fill. Its not pretty, and you wont be able to enjoy it!)
* Put mosquito coils out in the living and dining area or pool bar just before dusk, if you want to enjoy dinner, and not be dinner. Bali has many rice fields remember, and therefore many breeding grounds. Personal repellant is the go!
* Go to Bintang Shopping Centre for all your shopping needs. There isn’t much you can’t buy there food and drink wise, as well as many other things
* Make sure you know how to get home BEFORE you head out and have a few drinks!
* If you like something in the Villa, please don’t ‘sample’ it – we would be more than happy to tell you where it came from
* The Freezer makes limited ice cubes. Better to buy a bag from Bintang or similar. You will use it
* If you’re staying in the master bedroom, and don’t want to walk all the way to guest house one to switch off the lights at the end of the night, just leave the Buddha spotlights on, and turn off via the remote control before going to bed
* If you’re going to ride a motorcycle, wear a helmet! They are cheap and readily available to buy, even upstairs at Bintang, and are only about RP100,000
