Welcome to Villa jodie
Named in honour of one of the victims of the Bali Bombing, Jodie Cearns was in love with Bali and its Villa life and brought so many people from such different backgrounds together, that it seemed only right to respect her in this way.
The Villas are built as traditional Balinese houses, but with very modern overtones – the en suite bedrooms are separate from the living area and front on to the pool and garden.
There are three, two bedroom and three, three bedroom villas, each with their own pool, kitchen, dining and living area. All bedrooms are air-conditioned; sound proofed and have their own bathroom including double basins, bidet, shower and separate bath.
Villa life is so much more luxurious than even the biggest 5 star hotel – you have your own private staff to cook and clean for you, arrange flowers, clean the pool and generally take care of you.
Breakfast, and any other meal you wish cooked for you, is served from your own kitchen in your own private dining area.
High quality linen is changed daily, with beautiful fluffy towels ready for you when you emerge from your petal-strewn bath, which is open to the sky.
The staff are all experienced in tourism and Villa life and will organise a driver and a car – or just a car if you’re game to drive – groceries from the supermarket, a massage, a pedicure, a manicure, do your laundry, all at prices that will astound you as they are far below 5 star rates.
The Manager and his assistants have been working in this area for more than 19 years and speak very good English.
Each bedroom has a television, which is connected to Satellite. In the dressing/bathroom area, you will find toiletries, a hairdryer and international power points for shavers, etc. An iron and ironing board are available.
In the sitting area, there is another television, which is not only connected to the satellite but also has a DVD/CD stereo player. Reception has a library of discs, books, magazines and tourist information.
There is 24/7 security with closed circuit television, so you can feel comfortable as you lie back in your private space. Each bedroom has a small safe for those little items you need to have on hand. There is a larger safe in the Manager’s office if you need to store something bigger.
Villa Jodie aims to fulfill all of your dreams. Bali’s beautiful climate, the wonderful and generous Balinese people, your own private pool, a seven minute walk to the one of the best beaches in the world and so close to the best restaurants in Bali, that you won’t even notice that it took you less than two minutes to walk to at least five of them!
There are three 2 bedroom and three 3 bedroom villas, each with their own pool, kitchen, dining and living area. All bedrooms are air-conditioned; virtually sound proof and have their own bathroom including double basins, bidet, shower and separate bath.

Our regular check out time is at 12 noon. Should you wish to occupy your room for a later departure please contacts the Guest Service for assistance. In only exceptional cases, i.e. high season, will there be an extra charge.

Electricity
The voltages of the electricity in Bali are at 220 Volt, an international adapter is supplied in each bathroom. Additional adapters are available. Please contact our Guest Service desk.

The fire extinguisher is available in the Kitchen cupboard.

Water
Please do not drink the tap water. Please use the complimentary mineral water, which is provided in the bathroom and Kitchen.
Bed Turn Down
Your bed will be turned down every evening between from 1900 – 2100hours. Towels will be changed & your room will be sprayed against mosquitoes.
Breakfast Menu
Please fill the breakfast form to organize your breakfast the next day. Our room attendant will collect it when they do turn down service.
Medical Assistance
An Australian doctor and his wife developed Villa Jodie and so are very conscious of your health. Please let the staff know that you are unwell and they will drive you to the appropriate place.
Our Facilities
Safety Deposit Boxes
Each Villa has a safety deposit box in each bedroom. Guest Service will guide you how to use the Safety Box. If it is closed, the code you enter is 1234 A and press button inside to change your ID to 4 numbers of your choosing.
The Swimming Pool
Your Villa’s swimming pools have a depth of 2 meters. We would appreciate it if you would only use the pool between 07:00 am until 10:00 pm or if using out of those hours, please be quiet. Pool towels are provided in the wardrobe of each bedroom, if they are not on your pool chair.
CD and Library
There is a CD, DVD and Book Library next to the Guest Service Desk. This is a free service for our guests. We gratefully accept any donations of books, CD’s and DVDs.
Massage
Enjoy a variety of treatments right here in your villa. Select from our Pamper yourself at Villa Jodie menu.
Room Service
There is an extensive dining & wine menu to choose from. If you require something special, please ask to talk with one of our chefs. Please fill in your breakfast order the day before and it will be served in your villa any time after 7am. All day dining is available from 11am – 10pm. Please place last orders by 9.30pm.
Clear up service will be one hour after your order is served or earlier on your request.
Airport Transfers
Villa Jodie provides airport transfers. Please Book 24 hours in advance.
Shuttle Bus
Kuta is only 5 Kilometers away and a very pleasant walk along the beach. However a free shuttle is provided to and from Kuta based on schedule or requests. Please be ready at the lobby at least 10 minutes before.
Laundry
The Laundry is done in 24 hours. The list of laundry services is provided in the wardrobe. The price list is next to the safe. Our laundry will also do specialized dry cleaning.
Baby Sitter
We would be pleased to arrange a baby sitter. The charge is Rp.75.000/hour. There is an additional Rp. 25.000, - if you book until after 12 Midnight = for staff transportation. We would appreciate 24 hours notice if possible. A baby cot is provided based on request.
Gyms in Bali
There is a very good gym in Legian – about 10 minutes walk from Villa Jodie. There are both daily and weekly rates available.
Dining

The open - air dining room, adjacent to the living room area and overlooking the private pool is available for all day dining, serving western as well as Asian dishes.
