About The Villa
Named after an island in the East China Sea, this two-bedroom villa offers a taste of the classic Bali experience.

The Balinese tradition of a series of pavilions overlooking a central courtyard works to perfection in the stunning Villa Tioman.  The focal point of the house is the beautiful garden interwoven with a picturesque stone lined lagoon pool.

A shady, stone path leads directly into the open living area.  An elegantly proportioned circular room that incorporates an open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, a generous dining alcove and comfortable living area furnished with antique carved sofas and floor pillows creates a feeling of serenity and elegant luxury.

Villa Tioman is situated a short walk away from the beach and The Indian ocean in one of the most sought after addresses on the island, Batu Belig (meaning-slippery rock). You will be within a few minute drive of all the best restaurants on the island, and yet undisturbed by traffic noise. Other than the odd falling coconut to disturb the peace, this is the ideal location if you are looking for tranquility, but still want to be in the middle of things.

Bedrooms
Wooden walkways suspended over lily ponds extend off the living area at opposite ends of the house providing access to the two main bedroom suites. The bedroom overlooking the pool features wooden sliding doors offering easy access to the gardens and pool.  A beautifully inlaid floor of terrazzo and coconut wood echoes the cool tones of the interior with its colonial-style teak and rattan bed, dramatically enhanced by a mosquito net canopy.

A romantic Ensuite Bali-style bathroom is shaded by fragrant tropical flowers over a sunken tub.  Carved stone features have been incorporated into the design.

Both bedrooms in this elegant villa are complimented by the use of antique architectural features adapted as wardrobes, window fittings, and entrances.  An exotic ambience is offset by an elegant simplicity that incorporates the most beautiful aspects of Balinese design.

The main bedroom located at the other end of the house offers a tropical outlook to the shaded gardens through sliding doors.  A large king size bed offsets the antique furnishings and a discreet writing corner.  Recessed alcoves are decorated with subtly lit stone carvings to create a timeless elegance.  The Ensuite bathroom is an exotic fantasy, bursting with tropical plants over a sunken bathtub, while looking out onto its own private garden.

Garden and Pool
Muted yellow tones characterize this two-bedroom villa that boasts excellent facilities and an understated elegance that caters to the most discerning guests.  Low-slung sun loungers, an outdoor eating area under the shade of a pandanus tree and a traditional covered bale, create a seamless extension of the interior living area.  At night the villa takes on enchanting character when lit with lamps, candles and pool lights.

The lagoon-style swimming pool that features a shallow ?beach area? and wide stone steps creates an ideal environment from which to escape the heat and enjoy the garden.
